T’ae T’ae Swizelle Character Design

T’ae T’ae Swizelle is a half elf bard venturing forth into The Yarning Portal!

I was recently commissioned by an organiser of a Dungeons and Dragons group to design character portraits for each player character of their campaign. I was given in-depth descriptions of each character’s appearance and personality, as well as a photo of each player’s character piece (cute little crochet dolls) as reference.

T’ae T’ae was fairly simple as her character description was “basically Taylor Swift”. I chose to take reference from Swift’s earlier years in country music, giving T’ae T’ae cowboy boots and Taylor’s longer curly golden bob hair. I stuck with the country farm girl theme with earthy and floral colour palettes.
